|  Suzanne Hansen has been studying child development for over 20 years. She has used her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Linfield College, her extensive professional and personal experiences, along with her natural ability to coach others, to develop Ruby Sky Coaching.
Throughout her nursing career she has always been passionate about supporting young families. She has been a high risk labor and delivery nurse at both Providence St. Vincents and Sacred Heart Hospital. She has been a childbirth educator for Peace Health and a doula with ABC Postpartum Doula Service.
Before she became a registered nurse she graduated from Northwest Nannies Institute in Portland, Oregon. She spent a few years in Southern California working for families in the entertainment industry. While she was working with these families she began to develop her approach to solving babies' sleep issues.
Her first sleep client 13 years ago was her sister when she realized her own nephew had severe sleep problems. Suzanne had him sleeping through the night in just two nights.
She saw the support she offered her sister was a service that was in great need for mothers that were chronically fatigued because of their childrens' inconsistent sleep patterns. She found that working with tired and exhausted parents, in need of sleep coaching, was her true calling.
Ironically after the birth of her first child she found herself falling into the familiar pattern of letting her daughter fall asleep in her arms. This confirmed her belief that even when parents have the answers in their own hearts they benefit greatly from the support of a caring coach.
